For Relocating Executives
A relocation handled with the same standard as your work. For executives, founders, and professionals moving for a new role or a new chapter — we manage every part of the transition, discreetly and efficiently, so your professional life never breaks stride.
An executive relocation isn't just a move. It's a transition happening alongside the demands of a job, a team, a company, and often a family — at exactly the moment when stepping away from work isn't really an option. The move can't pause your career. Your career can't pause the move.
The Haute Suite exists for exactly that reality. We serve executives and professionals relocating to and within Southern California — including personal moves for new roles, founder relocations tied to business decisions, solo transitions where a partner is elsewhere, and international arrivals. What every engagement has in common is the goal: a relocation handled entirely on your behalf, so your professional life continues uninterrupted and you arrive to a home that's already settled.
THE EXECUTIVES WE WORK WITH
-
Executives Relocating for a New Role
A new position in a new city on a compressed timeline. You're stepping into the role while the move is happening around you. We handle the entire logistical side so you can focus on the first weeks that matter most — the team, the company, the transition into the work.
-
Founders and Entrepreneurs
Moving a life alongside a business is its own particular challenge. Whether the relocation is tied to a new headquarters, a new market, or a new chapter of your company's story, we manage the personal transition while your energy stays on what you're building.
-
C-Suite Executives Relocating With Families
Coordinating a move that involves not just your calendar but your spouse's, your children's schools, your family's belongings — and doing it in the middle of a demanding professional transition. We handle the family-side logistics with the same care as the individual side, and coordinate seamlessly with the household team already supporting you.
-
Solo Executive Moves
A move where your partner is remaining elsewhere, or where you're transitioning between homes on your own schedule. Efficient, discreet, calibrated to what a solo executive move actually requires.
-
International & Cross-Border Relocations
Executives arriving in Southern California from another country — often with only limited time to be on the ground during the move itself. We coordinate remotely, receive belongings on your behalf, and prepare the home so you arrive to a residence that's already yours.
How We Work
We work remotely by default. Most of our executive clients are too busy — or too far away — to be hands-on through the move. We work by phone, text, and video, sending only the updates that need a decision and handling everything else ourselves.
We coordinate with your team. Executive assistants, chiefs of staff, spouses, household managers, family offices — whoever's involved in coordinating the move, we work through them at whatever level of engagement they prefer. Your part is minimal by design.
We handle every layer. Vendor coordination, packing strategy, move-day execution, unpacking, organization, home setup, home office priority setup, and the finishing details. Every part of the transition handled by one team, with one point of contact.
We work on your timeline. Executive relocations often come together quickly, or shift mid-planning. Our approach is built to adapt — including for compressed timelines when a role starts sooner than expected.
We're discreet. A small, trusted team. A single point of contact. Communication through the channels you specify. Nothing about the move becomes public in any way.
The home is ready before the role starts. Where possible, our aim is to have the home fully unpacked, organized, and functional before day one at the new position. Your first day at work isn't preceded by a sleepless night surrounded by boxes.
What's Different About an Executive Relocation
An ordinary move is a project you complete. An executive relocation is a project happening alongside the work you already can't step away from — and that fundamental reality shapes everything about the service.
Most moving companies aren't set up for it. They arrive on the day, they load the truck, they leave. The rest — coordinating vendors, unpacking, organizing, building a home office from scratch, setting up the kitchen, arranging the closets — is left to you to handle in whatever hours you can carve out of a schedule that's already full of a new role and a new city.
Executive relocation is designed for the opposite. The service exists to remove the move from your calendar entirely, so you can be present at your new role from the first day. That means the relocation is planned and executed remotely, coordinated with your assistant or household team, executed by a small trusted crew, and completed to a home-is-ready-to-live-in standard before you arrive.
Our executive relocation work has included international C-suite relocations with full families in tow — coordinated as complete home setups from the day the family arrives — as well as solo executive moves into condos and apartments, and family relocations where we've coordinated primarily with the executive's spouse and assistant while the executive stayed focused on the role itself. Our engagements span San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, with regular cross-market coordination for clients whose lives or roles move between these cities.
Many of these projects involve compressed timelines, remote coordination during the executive's transition into a new position, and integration with the household team already supporting the family. Whether the move is a founder's arrival, a C-suite family relocation, or a solo executive transition, our approach is the same — to make the physical relocation feel like it's simply happening on your behalf, rather than something you have to run alongside your work.
A Service Built for the Way Executives Actually Move
Every executive relocation is different — the role, the timeline, the family situation, the personal preferences. What stays consistent is the underlying goal: your transition into the new role is untouched by the logistics of the move. We handle everything, on your behalf, at the standard your professional life operates at.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. We frequently coordinate primarily with an executive's assistant, chief of staff, spouse, or household manager rather than directly with the executive themselves. We're set up to run the entire engagement through whoever the executive designates, at whatever level of involvement they prefer.
-
Yes. We work with companies, HR teams, and relocation coordinators on behalf of executive employees, with billing and communication structured to fit corporate processes. We aren't currently on preferred-vendor lists for major corporate mobility programs, but we regularly handle company-arranged relocations directly.
-
Most executive relocations are best planned 4–6 weeks in advance. When timelines are compressed — a role starting sooner than expected, a family joining the executive after the fact, an international arrival on a short window — we accommodate accelerated schedules when our availability allows. Reach out as soon as you know the move is happening, even if the details aren't final.
-
Yes. We regularly manage international relocations into Southern California — receiving belongings on the client's behalf, coordinating with international movers, and preparing the home in advance of the executive's arrival. We can also coordinate relocations out of Southern California to international destinations.
-
Rarely. Most of our executive clients are either at their existing role, transitioning to the new one, or traveling during the move itself. We handle the entire process on your behalf — from packing through unpacking through home setup — with the aim of having the home ready before you arrive.
-
We prioritize the home office setup so your professional life can resume immediately. That includes coordinating the technology setup (WiFi, monitors, ergonomic considerations), placement of furniture, and organization of the space so it's fully functional from day one.
-
A small, trusted team. A single point of contact. Communication only through the channels you specify. For engagements that require additional discretion — including NDA structures or protected identities — we can accommodate those protocols. Specifics can be discussed during your consultation.
-
Yes. Many of our executive clients own or maintain more than one residence, and we coordinate between them as needed — including setup of a new home while a primary residence is maintained elsewhere.
-
We create a custom quote for every engagement based on the scope of the move, the timeline, and the level of coordination required. Corporate-arranged relocations can be billed through the company's mobility or expense processes. Every quote is provided upfront after your consultation.
